The diamond is the hardest substance known today. Yet, the diamond
is the most beautiful element known to man and woman. With a Mohs
hardness of 10, diamonds can only be cut by other diamonds. Diamonds
do not conduct electricity, but conduct heat extremely well.
Most diamonds come from South Africa but some are mined in
Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
